Our apps
We build apps for musicians. Mostly because we are musicians.
Every app here started as a problem we had in the practice room or on a gig. Building our own products keeps us sharp, and it's why your app project goes smoother: we've already made the mistakes on our own dime.

ShedSpace
A practice room in your pocket.
"Woodshedding" is musician slang for practicing until it hurts. ShedSpace logs every session on the web so you can see your progress. The mobile app puts a metronome, a drone, and a real drummer on one clock, so your old metronome can finally retire.
- Log practice sessions and track progress over time
- Built-in metronome and drone tones to practice along with
- Pocket: real drum grooves recorded by a real drummer, at your tempo
- Seven-day free trial, then a yearly subscription or one-time purchase
TrackRate
Find out how people actually listened.
Your mom says your new song is great. TrackRate tells you the truth. Upload a track, share your band's page, and see exactly which seconds people heard, where they rewound, and where they bailed. No streaming platform will show you that. We checked.
- A branded page for every band at trackrate.io/yourband
- Listeners just press play. No account, no login
- Second-by-second retention, rewinds, and thumbs-up taps
- A short feedback form you design, right after the track ends

Know the Tune
Every song you play, rated. Every set, gig ready or not.
Every working musician has that one song they swear they know until the bandleader calls it. Know the Tune tracks your whole repertoire, so practice goes where it's needed and the set is ready before the downbeat.
- Rate every song green, yellow, or red in one tap
- Practice what needs it first
- See how ready each set list is before the gig
- Play the set and rate as you go
ChartSpace
The keyboard-first chord chart editor.
Chord charts for working musicians. Write charts fast, hear them play back, and transpose to any key without redrawing a thing. Flip between letter chords and the Nashville Number System with one click. Your bandleader will be impressed. Or confused.
- Fast keyboard editing with auto-formatting
- Instant transposing and Nashville numbers
- Playback with real instrument sounds, a metronome, and a count-in
- Stage view with a dark theme and auto-scroll
- Set lists, band sharing, and version history

ScaleSpace
Every scale, every instrument, one screen.
A free scale finder that lets you stack scales on top of each other to see which notes they share. It's the fastest way we know to stop noodling the same five notes. (We're bass players. We'd know.)
- Guitar, bass (4, 5, and 6 string), ukulele, and piano
- 24 scale types in all 12 keys, with every note spelled correctly
- Overlay up to three scales with shared notes highlighted
- Alternate tunings, audio playback, and free PDF export
- Works offline, and shares any view with a link
What our own apps taught us
Lessons we learned on our own dime, so you don't pay for them.
Launch smaller than you think
The features you're sure people need are rarely the ones they use. Ship the core, then listen.
Real users beat meetings
One week of real people using an app teaches more than a month of whiteboard sessions.
Launch day is day one
The real work starts after launch: support, fixes, and the feature requests nobody saw coming.
Got an app idea? We know the road.
Musician or not, we'd love to hear about it. We'll even skip the bass solo.
