How we handle your information.

This policy covers madebysprung.com, run by Sprung Interactive LLC in Minneapolis, Minnesota ("Sprung," "we," "us"). The short version: we collect what we need to answer you and run this site, we don't sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to share: company, phone number, the services you're interested in, budget, timeline, and your message. If you email, call, or text us, we get whatever you send.

Information collected automatically

• Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and general device and location information without cookies.
• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics use cookies to tell us which pages people visit, how they found the site, and roughly where they are (city level, not street level). Google receives your IP address to do this.
• Server logs from our hosting provider record IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
• Spam protection on the contact form, provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, checks your browser to confirm you're a person.

Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

How we use it

• To reply to you and to plan, deliver, and support projects.
• To understand which pages are useful and fix the ones that aren't.
• To keep the site secure and keep spam out of our inbox.
• To meet legal and accounting requirements.

We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with companies that help us run this site and our business, and only so they can do that job:

• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Google, for Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Cloudflare, for spam protection on the contact form.
• Postmark, which delivers contact form messages to our inbox.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of selling or merging the business.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. To stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits on any site, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages and project emails for as long as we're working together, plus as long as we need them for records and taxes. Google Analytics data is kept for [14 months], the retention period set in our account. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including Minnesota, you may have the right to see the personal information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or get a copy of it. To do any of that, email hello@madebysprung.com. We'll reply within one business day and finish the request within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), limited access, and up-to-date software. No website is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If something does, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Children

This site is for businesses. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Other sites

We link to other websites, including our own apps, such as ShedSpace and TrackRate. Each one has its own privacy policy, and this policy doesn't cover them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll say so on the site.
