Mobile app development · Minneapolis, MN

iPhone and Android apps people still open after the first week.

We design, build, test, and launch mobile apps for businesses in the Twin Cities and beyond. We also handle the app store paperwork nobody enjoys, so you can focus on the launch party.

Sound familiar?

Signs it's time for an app, not just a mobile site.

Your customers do the same thing on their phones every week, and every week it takes six taps too many.

Your field team runs on texts, photos, and a group chat named "FINAL final."

You've had an app idea in your notes since 2019. It's still a good idea.

What we build

Mobile apps we build most often

Customer apps

Ordering, booking, loyalty, and accounts, right on the home screen where your customers already are.

Field and team apps

Checklists, photos, signatures, and job notes that sync when the signal comes back.

Companion apps

A mobile front door for your web app or portal, with the same data and the same logins.

Apps that work offline

For basements, job sites, and the parts of Minnesota where the bars come and go.

Notifications and reminders

Updates people actually want, not three a day about nothing.

App store launch

Listings, screenshots, privacy forms, and reviewer back-and-forth. We do it for our own apps, too.

How it works

Four steps from idea to app store.

  1. Discovery

We map who uses the app, what they need on day one, and what can wait. You get a written plan, a timeline, and a real price.

  2. Design

You tap through a working prototype on your own phone before we build the real thing.

  3. Build and test

We build in short rounds and test on real iPhones and Android phones, not just the newest ones.

  4. Launch and support

We submit to the App Store and Google Play, answer the reviewers, and keep the app current as phones change.

What's included

Everything it takes to get in the app store, and stay there.

Every mobile app project includes these. No surprise line items three months in.

  • Discovery workshop and written project plan
  • Interface design and clickable prototype
  • iPhone and Android builds
  • Testing on real devices, plus accessibility checks
  • App Store and Google Play submission
  • [X] days of post-launch support

Under the hood

Modern tools, picked for the job.

Most apps share one codebase across iPhone and Android, which saves you time and money. When an app needs native code, we write it.

  • React Native
  • Expo
  • Swift
  • Kotlin
  • Firebase
  • Node.js
  • Stripe
  • TestFlight

FAQ

Mobile app questions

How much does a mobile app cost?

It depends on features, platforms, and integrations. We don't carry big-agency overhead, so our pricing comes in under larger dev shops with the same senior-level work. After discovery you get a fixed written estimate.

Do I need separate apps for iPhone and Android?

Usually not. Most of our apps share one codebase, so you get both from a single build. If your app needs something only native code can do, we'll tell you up front.

How long does it take to build an app?

A focused first version usually takes [X to Y] weeks, plus a few days for app store review.

Will you handle the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. We set up the listings, prepare screenshots and privacy details, submit the builds, and answer reviewer questions. [CONFIRM] The apps publish under your company's developer accounts, so you own them.

Do you only work with Minneapolis businesses?

No. We're based in Minneapolis and work with clients across the Twin Cities, Minnesota, and the US. We're happy to meet for coffee in Minneapolis or St. Paul, and video calls work fine everywhere else.
